Recognize a Stroke
Act F.A.S.T.
When you spot these warning signs, call 911 immediately. Every minute without treatment means more brain cells lost.
Face
Ask the person to smile. Does one side of the face droop?
Arms
Ask them to raise both arms. Does one arm drift downward?
Speech
Ask them to repeat a simple phrase. Is their speech slurred or strange?
Time
If you see ANY of these signs, call 911 immediately. Time is critical.
